Peter Hotez, dean for the National School of Tropical Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, is refusing to debate 2024 presidential contender Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about vaccines – and we think we know why.
Despite a $1.5 million charity pot up for grabs, Hotez, a pro-vaccine zealot with strange ties to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19), told podcast giant Joe Rogan that he would be “uncomfortable” debating Kennedy because Kennedy is more knowledgeable and would surely win in a heartbeat.
“He’s an attorney and he’s very clever and he knows how to do arguments in court,” Hotez told Rogan. “And what am I? I’m a scientist.”

(Related: ABC News is also scared of Kennedy, which is why the network censored him for mentioning the dangers and ineffectiveness of covid “vaccines.”)
Hotez is insistent that Kennedy’s position on vaccines constitutes “misinformation,” despite being backed by a plethora of science. Rogan quickly picked up on this, calling Hotez a hypocrite.
Rogan personally offered Hotez $100,000 to give to the charity of his choice if he would simply sit down with Kennedy and have an honest and open debate with no time limit. Hotez will not do it, though.
Rogan also challenged Hotez’s so-called “scientific” views, which patently reject nutrition and exercise as playing any role in health. Hotez views vaccines and other pharmaceuticals as tools that promote health, rejecting the role that nature plays in supporting human health.
“There’s a large body of data that connects poor diet to a host of diseases,” Rogan said to Hotez. “You don’t think vitamins are needed while you eat junk food?”

Realizing that he lost the debate both with Kennedy and Rogan simply by rejecting their petition for a debate, Hotez did what everyone else on his side does in such a situation: He went after Rogan’s platform and tried to get him censored.
“Spotify Has Stopped Even Sort of Trying to Stem Joe Rogan’s Vaccine Misinformation,” Hotez tweeted, this being the title of a hit piece on Rogan that was penned by Vice senior editor Anna Merlan, who goes by the Twitter handle of @annamerlan.
“It’s really true @annamerlan just awful. And from all the online attacks I’m receiving after this absurd podcast, it’s clear many actually believe this nonsense.”
Kennedy, meanwhile, lamented the fact that for 18 years, nobody on the other side of the debate will actually debate him. Instead, they resort to publishing hit pieces filled with name-calling and slander, which is the only thing the pro-jab crowd has at its disposal.
Hotez, a vaccine scientist and professor of molecular virology at Baylor, penned his own article about his daughter, the title of which speaks for itself as to the mental derangement of this guy:
“Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel’s Autism: My Journey as a Vaccine Scientist, Pediatrician, and Autism Dad.”
Whatever you say, Mr. Hotez.
